Account Closed After Court Case Win

couple of weeks ago halifax refunded £400 onto my credit card for my claim,

 

the account now shows as CLOSED when i log into my online banking,

 

the account is part of a dmp and was before the claim,

 

should i be prepared for them to try and collect this remaining debt ?

I'm a bit confused - what was the outstanding debt before the refund ? Maybe they have just written it off ?

before the refund it was

 

£2034.59

 

currenty debt is £1585.74 after the refund and this months payment

 

account page shows that i made the minimum payment on July 3rd but still states the minimum payment required by July 17th

 

i made a CCA request on 27th June with the letter as follows,

 

 

Please can you send me a signed copy of the credit agreement for the above account as regulated by the consumer credit act 1974, i enclosea £1.00 cheque in payment for the statutory fee.

 

Non-compliance with my request is a criminal offence under the above act and will result in a report being submitted to the relevant statutory authorities

 

 

now im not sure if this letter is correct after seeing a couple of templates floating about this last week,

 

should i amend and send again or is it fine ?

 

giving 2 working days for them to recieve my request and then 12 working days to supply the document it takes us to 17th July for the deadline if the above is fine

I suspect it's just their accounting system then - I presume they have stopped your card as you are on a DMP, so the online info is just for your reference. Possibly ?

ive been in a dmp with that account for 16 months and its now just shown as closed

 

no idea if they have stop my card - i cannot remember the last time i has one,

 

it does show a balance available to spend though

I noticed this on my Halifax Credit Card the other day too. It hasn't made any difference though, as I can still use it and pay it off with no problems. I might give them a ring about it later however.

I rang up the Halifax credit card services as this was on mine too. They said it was a fault with their system.

i rang them, they stated it was to do with my account having several missed payments 18 months ago - i asked if i could have access to the funds that have been paid in becuase of the court claim - they stated it would be passed on to a manager who will give a call

 

if they do not give me access to the funds of the claim ill take them to court again as they should not dictate how i have access to a court claim payment - simple
