Hi I'm brand new to this forum so please be gentle.

I am trying to find a valid phone number for Barclays Partner Finance which I understand is the same company as ClydesdaleFS. All the numbers I have tried are unobtainable and even their web site appears down. www.cfs-uk.com what on earth is going on ?

I have found one in this forum which appeared to have been valid in March 2008, but not now ??? BT have nothing listed although there is a CFS listed in Runcorn, but is that the same company ???

I bought an Apple computer on 6 months interest free credit just over 5 months ago and I want to pay it off before they add interest.

Looking on this forum CFS appears to be, lets say "customer unfriendly" and I don't want to get caught out by them. I have not received any reminder that the 6 months is getting close so that I can pay it off.

Any advise gratefully received.

Regards, Dave

Hi Dave, the number I have for them is 0870 366 2656. The other number which says is to discuss repayments is 0844 811 9000. Hope this helps, they are the most unhelpful company I have dealt with so Good Luck!

Hi Dave and welcome to the Barclays forum.

There must be a contact address on the finance documents which you have. You could send the pay't by Rec'd Del'y to make sure you pay within the time limit for the interest free period.

We could do with some help from you

Hi Guys, and thamks for the quick replies.

I did have both those numbers plus several more (on my documents) and I have been trying all of them yesterday to see if they still work and had been getting unobtainable, but I tried the first one you list above again this morning and it worked ???

I was also able to go through and pay off the agreement before it reached six months.:-)

Thanks very much for your help.

I can only assume that there must have been a phone line fault yesterday as not only their phones, but also their web site was down. However, it is working again today and I can access their contacts list at Barclays | Contact Us

Regards, Dave.
