My apologies if this is in the wrong section, but i could not see anywhere else where this would be apt. I am currently working as a contractor in Guernsey and my pay gets invoiced by me to the company then paid out under the umbrella company (ibalance) this is the first time for me being paid this way as up until recently i have been serving in the army. Now basically im hoping to rack peoples brains to see what i can add to offset my tax, i know the usual things , laundry, incidentals, meals etc. Is there anything that anyone can think of that will bring the amount that they can tax down to a minimum? Any help greatly appreciated.
