Silly CCA question!

I know this will seem like a really silly question, but anyway....

I need to send a CCA request letter (using the template on this site). However, my printer has died. Should I send the request handwritten? Could doing that cause any problems?

Not really, that should be fine but don't use your usual signature (or handwriting)

I know from reading on here how pedantic DCA's can be so I don't want to give them any ammo. They can't refuse the request because it's handwritten or anything can they?

No of course not, everybody did this a few years ago before 'personal computers' came along !!! and yes do your signature in block capitals...

And take a photocopy of your letter too....£1 postal order, send it by recorded delivery...

Stupid question from me as well.

 

If I request CCA and they provide just t&c's under the Consumer Credit (Cancellation Notices and Copies of Documents) Regs - can they send just that?

 

Or do they need the agreement with prescribed terms as well?

 

I know the regs allow for signature etc to be missing, but also the prescribed terms?

 

Im my view, without the prescribed terms its not a copy of the executed agreement?
