I started to claim JSA last month.

and i received a letter last week saying i would get paid from the 13th of 47.50

the 13th being the start of the week when i was made unemployed.

yet i have only received one payment of 47.50 since then and my next interview with the job center is on Monday.

What can i do?

i have only had 47.50 to live on since the 25th

i had nothing from the 13th to the 20th

should i bring this up with my adviser

also i was on emergency tax during my temp work and was being taxed 22%

how do i claim this back while on JSA

i also have not received my P45 from my last work place i have rang up today and they still have not received it.

i should have at least 300 pounds tax given back to me for the work i did.

can anyone help ?

Hi there, I would advise you to take all the paperwork you have to the jobcentre today and ask them to explain to you when your next payment will be made. JSA is normally paid fortnightly so it looks as though you may be due a payment this week. However, I wouldn't wait until your appointment next monday, you should go and ask as soon as possible.

Until you receive your P45 there is nothing that can be done about your tax.

Kind Regards
