Hi

Does anybody know if this court case is over yet? ive been claiming back bank charges since June last year, and was told all claims had been put on hold.

Do you think i will be entitled to ever get my money back!??

Hi Tilly

Thanks for your reply

I got as far as getting my bank statements, adding up what they owed me and sent the letter back requesting me getting the money back. It took about 3 months to receieve my bank statements!!

Hi all - Excellent just got back onto this as my court case was "stayed" suspended until the outcome from this special case.

Please can anyone if on the know (or right circles) confirm if we do win - Will the local courts send the claimants "info" for next step as I had a court date which obviously been and gone. I am claiming just under £5k so thus wont to be prepared for the battle if we win the war.

Cheers

african igbo - How cases are dealt with will vary from court to court and whether the OFT are successful.

The first trial (that should conclude at the end of next month) relates to the applicability of the UTCCR to the banks. That in itself will not deal with whether the charges are fair or otherwise. If the OFT are successful with the present litigation then whether the charges are fair or not will I suspect be the subject of further litigation.

Either way you should hear from the court. As matters unfold updates will be available on this site giving you guidance.
