  1. You should be so lucky, 1 did you pay the fee to play the lotto 2 any winnings if any, are credited to your account, if you joined on line, British lotto that is, the only e.mails you get from the lott company are informing you that your choosen numbers need renewing, about any roll-overs that might be due in the next draw, and confirmation that your choosen selection have been logged and entered into the next draw. any other mail there send, will just ask you to logg into your account, there won't tell you you have won, just that there have news that will intrest you. British lotto do not ask for money for processing any winnings, nor for bank details for winnings to be sent to, if you are unsure in future, then buy the tickets from the post office or local shop, that way you have full control, knowing that any future mail isnt real. i myself do my lotto on line, and never reply to mail from other lotto companies.
  2. Information on one credit check site might not show on another site, it is best to get yor credit report from at least two credit referance companies, and cross match upon both. one company might up-date more often than the other. you will have also have had to link all addresses to your currant address, if you have missed one out that you added to the other, this might also indicate as to why one shows a default and the other doesnt.
  3. Don't believe in having to pay to get my own well earned ash out, i earned it, why should i give some away just for using a machine, hence great idea banks bringing debit cards out, if no cash to hand, most shops/places now take the card without the need for cash, have seen pubs in London charging from £5 to £10 in clubs and lap dancing places, not though i visit lap dancing venues hehehehe

There have sent the pound postal order back, but its the excact same one i sent them, with there name on it, there are not even wise enough to cash it, and return the pound in my name, half wits. No-way am i going to ring them, far as i'm concerned i doughed the debt from the very 1st letter there sent me, now after nearly 2 years there still can't give me the agreement showing the debt exsists, let alone that i ever owed anything..... Shall i sent the pound postal order back to them and seek one in my name plus intrest for waiting for it, as end of day the money order is useless to me.....
  9. I wouldn't even intertain such a company, it be so nice to roll home in a brand new car, but at prices nowadays, i'll make do with my 9 year old clio, paid for and never on hp. should the clio ever let me down, to date no problems, then i will opt for a second hand car, paid for by cash saved up, i'd never use HP to buy such, the intrest alone would give me nightmares.
  10. Hello just a up-date had NO response from Capquest can some1 point me in the direction of the next letter i send after the one i sent above, don't want to just leave it, as there will write again in some months time, so rather get sorted asap. thanks.
  11. Thanks for replying, friend texted me this morning she wrote and posted letter this morning. Asked her about the costs she has made for the treatments. 1st part of treatment cost her £400 which included one extraction, 2 fillings, 9 root canels, (which failed hence the second course of treatment) 2 gold crowns..... 2nd part of treatment (now under the new charges) included 9 extracations ( due to the above root canels failing ) and 2 part dentures one holding ( top 5 teeth) bottom holding 4 teeth. cost her £189.00 Two further visits to have the dentures tightened charged at check up fee £ 15.50..... She has another appointment booked for mid June to have the dentures re-made this time PRIVATELY, hence the cost is £1000.00 as the others don't enable her to eat with them in, and according to the dentist, the Private dentures are made out of differant substances/materials? which he says will suit her better. :-|
  12. Posting for a good friend.. I have already advised her, but want to clarify some points, should anyone have direct information on such matters. Today i accompanyed her to the dreaded dentists, have been doing so for the last year, due to her having major work carried out, might i add that she works full time hence pays for the treatment she recieves, (not private treatement like) Three months ago she had a top part denture fitted and part bottom denture fitted, she has been back on two occassions to get them re-adjusted, each time the dentist charged her the routine check up price, Question one: Don't adjustments come under the fees she already paid for the dentures, ie slight adjustments as per the jaw bones shrinking etc. The dentures still don't fit correct in her mouth and since getting them fitted, she hasn't been able to eat solid foods while the teeth are in place, hence she takes them out to eat soft foods. Today we drove to the dentists to have them adjusted again, her appointment been arranged two weeks ago for 15.20 arriving 10 minutes early, we sat, at 15.50 she still hadn't been seen by the dentist, and i had to get off for a appointment of my own else-where, with her been scared she asked for another appointment due to not been seen today, of which the receptionist gave her one for two weeks time, not even a sorry came to my friend on behalf of the dentist, infact the receptionist even struggled to give her eye contact. While we were there waiting, another lady came into the rest waiting area, she had a appointment at 15.25 but hadn't arrived untill 15.40 just 15 mins late, the receptionist informed that lady she had missed her appointment hence had to re-book and a charge for missing her appointment had to be made upon her. Question Two: Can my friend put a claim into the dentist for them failing to conclude a appointment ie them failing in there duty to keep to appointment? End of the day, she had finished work early to attend this apppointment, the cost of getting to the surgery etc. I have informed her to pen a letter together, high-lighting the concerns she has and the costs accurred, and to seek at least a apology and costs for the time wasted waiting ie half hour, standard rate, and costs of the travlling by car, price per mile, and also for writing the letter of complaint, standard pricing. I have also asked her to seek whether the adjustments should be free, rather than get charged every time she visits to get the adjustmenst done. I think the above is fair to seek given the cirmcumstances, after all if she was late or missed the appointment, there would charge her for doing such. Should anyone feel that there is no case for the dentist to answer, then fair enough, she will put it down to every day accurrances, but me been me, i have expressed her to presue the matter. Thanks for reading and take care. Moderator: Shywazz been tired i couldn't find the "post new thread" on the dentists section, please move as required to correct area, time for bath and bed as work at 5am yeeks thanks. 8)
  13. GP short for Gay Pride its there yearly get to gether same weekend if i'm not mis-taken ...
  14. Just come across this thread, me only 2 miles from where your were going, sadly the date missed, how things go for you? I'm not registered as a buddy but would have come to give moral support. question how does one become a buddy ? or moral support.
  15. Very difficult going into business with friends, since you state the friend is thinking of moving, might it be a good idea to get the police onto the matter, hopefully the two lads have the proper documantation that there were business partners etc, and a listing of items that are in the business, if the business is closing or closed make sure any debts if any, arising from there venture, are documented for future referance, as the other might state that your son is sole responsiable for re-payment. Is there proof/documentation as to which one has legal ownership to the equipment. Having propper witnessed documentation nowadays is vital to any claim. Otherwise it all comes down to hear-say.
  16. I made contact with one of the buyers from that account, as yet there not got back to me, but looking at the thread you have manged to get the info already, scotland eh, wow big differance from where you live, hopefully things will be sorted, but remember E.Bay don't act very fast to matters, sometimes taking some weeks to come to conclusions, since your sons have accounts open, maybe if you are needing to buy or sell something, why not use there account to do this, just while yours is been sorted. chin up and try stay postive.
  17. 1st July just happens to be the weekend i'm in London, might just walk over and introduce myself. Also isn't GP in the park that weekend too. ?
  18. Thanks for the intresting thoughts on this issue, guess we need our transport to get us from A to B work and pleasure, hence we have to put up with the costs made upon us, intresting read other day, in the sun, a cleaner in the house of commons paid £11k per year gives back over £4k + in taxes in one form or another to the goverment she works for, taxed while we drive, while we eat and while we sleep, back to the fuel issue, noticed again the BP near me raised the fuel by another penny, since me posting the thread, think the fuel most definently going to reach the pound mark before the budget increase is added, shame i could'nt buy a push bike, but think the 48 mile round trip to and from work is even pushing my limits some-what.
  19. Good luck on your new venture, hope things go good for you. Last year i thought about the exact venture, ie buying and selling items on E.Bay, thus visiting autions to buy in bulk and re-sell on the site, however after looking into the venture in more detail, all is not as easy as one might think, the amount of paperwork etc involved in just getting started is ameise, don't get me wrong, i have friends that have started the same thing and there now earn enough to give them a nice living, but there don't just sell on E.Bay, there sell on other similar sites too, to increase the revenue that there get. As another person has said above, since you rent the place you live, should you go ahead with starting your venture, you will need permission to run a business from that property, which your landlord might not agree to, as more taxes will be payable for that property, which there might not be perpared to accept, or if there do, there will add the costs to the rental price, ie it won't be classed as a place of residement, but a business address..... Might i suggest you buy and sell to the amount allowed on E.Bay before it is classed as a business, thus staying below the permitted threshold, with the other sites that you can join too, also staying below there permitted threshold, this will enable you, to feel the market you are trying to get into, before committing yourself fully. I now buy and sell on many sites but all below the threshold before it is classed as a business, i don't earn enough through buying and selling to give up work, nor would i want to. What-ever you decide good luck in the route you take.
  20. Just come across this thread and reading with intrest on my day of work, however it seems to have just stopped, can any1 advise me as to whether the thread has been moved or the poster has just not up-dated as yet, like happy endings but this one has stopped half way through the good bit so to speak . or am i just been eager as to the endings thax

  22. oh not working there now lol at number 3 in supermarket list Sains.
  23. Ello Barracad the company i work for pays Full company sick pay from the 1st day of sickness, i also work tues to Sat hence sun and mon are my days off or rest days as the company i work for call it, if i am sick for one week or say fri sat sun mon and return tues, then i will get full sick pay for the days i would of worked under my contract, ie will be paid for fri sat but NOT for sun and mon as not contracted to work them, as the case of the poster of thread, since you work mon to fri then the sickness pay will cover the same period, but as Barracad has said a large % of companys don't pay for the 1st three days. hence you will be paid just 2/5 if you have used your entitlement of company sick pay, then chances are you will just get ssp again only comes into affect after the 3rd day of sickness. Since one of your sickness days fell on a bank holiday then it is classed as a holiday hence day off, but since you were sick, no holiday pay would be payable. and most likly no sick pay if the company you work for operates a 3 day wait period. Hope you have now got over what kept you from work you might want to contact ur union or try Acas - Home whom can assist more/better.
  24. Have just been into E.bay and seen that the user you state, also has had there account closed, noticing there only had account from 27th Mar and tryed to sell 3 items, one successfully by the looks of it, i have made contact with the buyer of one of the items, as there didnt pay through paypal, hence must have had a address to send payment to, hopefully there will get back to me, should there not, you might want to make contact with E.bay about this, and get them to contact the buyer, whom in return might disclose the address there sent payment to, and if it differs from yours there might look into the matter in more depth.
  25. okay going to pop into E.Bay and chat there about this.
