PatriciaC taking on Yorkshire Bank!!!!
maroondevo52 replied to Patricia C's topic in Welcome to the Consumer Forums
Hi, Patricia. Think it took me about 12 weeks, that was my first claim. I believe they pay out a lot quicker when they realise you are serious about taking them to court. Like many others Bank of Scotland did all they could to delay the process, but in the long run, I got my money. I've just started a summary cause against them and it will be interesting to see when they pay up. Best wishes with your claim. Regards. Scott. -

Hi KWeisberg, To find your old post click on your user name in a thread and you will find all posts by you. You seem to be heading in the right direction. To my knowledge, very very few people have had to appear in court. I dont know how you will be claiming, I'm in Scotland and using small claims, all I can loose is my £39 court fee. You should carry on and take them all the way. You should post a thread in your banks forum and someones bound to help you out. Best wishes with your claim. Regards. Scott.

maroondevo52 replied to xxCazxx's topic in Scotland Banks & Finance
Well done Caz ! Great to hear. Spend it wisely? Regards. Scott. -
Hi Ida, I've just handed in my first Summary Cause. When you take your papers to the Sheriff Court, you will pay £39.00.They will then send the papers back to you with a Return Date and a Calling Date. You then have to take your papers to a Sheriff Officer's to get them to serve the summons for you, this cost me £15.97. The Court gives you a list of local Sheriff Officers, so it's not to much of a problem. Regards. Scott.
