Yes in a nutshell, tell them all to either put up or shut up. They are just sending their standard template threatograms out in the hope that you buckle & pay up.

This country really is well & truely f*cked up Pompeyfaith.... Money & big business rules. People have become totally de-humanised as a result of it all. We care nothing for our neighbours anymore - simply how much money they do or dont have... I am angry that taxpayers money has bailed out the banks & the government will pay a heavy electoral price for that. But the economic crash we've just had ironically may have been a blessing in disguise & may just have re-humanised people a bit so to speak, to make us all care for one another that bit more.

I think its about time someone actually sued ACS law. If successful, it would open the floogates & would create such an aftershock within ACS.

I would be cheeky enough to say that i was deducting a certain fee from the balance for each week that they didnt take me to court

They are nothing but chancers who dont care weather you are already repaying the debt or not.

Find out everything about the matter from the court in question 1st before you do anything.

There would have/should have been a court order..so id contact that court & find out what the specifics of it were etc... This lot have no right to be sending threatening letters out when one of those has already been made.

The court representative would have agreed on an amount to be repaid monthly with you & then that would have been the end of it. There is absolutely no reason as to why you should be getting threatening follow up letters like this.

If its already been to a court, then its the court you should be dealing with & no-one else. Sounds like this other lot are just chancing their arm with you.

I know from personal experience that credit files are easily manipulated if you know what you are doing/how to go about it etc...

Send them a CCA request Their threats are just that, they (and their solicitors) have no legal powers & can simply be told to go away - only the courts have any powers over the individual.

Credit files have a strange mind of their own. Things you expect to be there are not & things you dont expect to be there are The whole CRA system is in chaos Fox & not fit for purpose in my view.

Do not worry about about Debt Managers, they have no legal powers - only a county court does & can simply be told to go away. Refuse to answer security questions if they ever ring you.

The fatal mistake they made is that they thought they could get away with it. They underestimated people power/the power of the internet etc... Years ago..something like this would have easily succeeded before the internet was ever invented. In this age of mass communication at the press of a button - they really were up against it from the start in my opinion.
