With all the postal strikes it is going to be crazy to get anyhting to HBOS for a little while. Is it possible to use email and if so can anyone tell me what email address to use? Thank you in advance!

I don't think it's advisable to do things like SAR and LBA via email to be honest.

It would be ok to email to chase things up, but I would advise doing things by the book as recommended on here.

Postal stike or not, just count the days as usall ;)

I have read of a few who have e-mailed. I wouldn't, though.

With the time-scales involved I would worry about mini-postal strikes once a fortnight or so!

I cetainly haven't come across any e-mail addresses for HBOSplc. Guess that their in-boxes would be full to overflowing, anyway!

I always used email as the law recognises email as just as much as it does post.

When you email Halifax you receive an acknowledgement of receipt (As good as a signed recored delivery). The only thing you cannot email is the SAR.

Their email address is [email protected]

Whatever I post is my opinion and should be taken as such, an opinion. While it is what I believe and is offered in good faith, it should not be taken as a statement of truth

It would mean, then, that you would send your charges sheets by email, too.

You can always try out a *test*.
