i am writing to barclays to adv i want my money and if not i'll take them to court but which court would i use? i live in skelmersdale which is lancashire and our nearest magistrates is ormskirk is this the one i would use or does it have to be county court? how do i find out which one?

okay, to do things properly and without unnecessary hassle you've got to follow the guidelines set out on this site,

there are template letters for you to use [amend as necessary], these are worded adequately for each stage.

As advised by good ole Saintly,,you don't need court info yet.

and by wcakes it will be in a county court, but this is some way off yet

depending on the size of your claim they may make you an offer to which you accept.

but please....post on here before you do..

ASK BEFORE ACTION!!!! EVERY TIME!

make sure you read the links available on here.

AND!!

send ALL correspondence by RECORDED DELIVERY

AND

Keep copies....you will need them for your court bundle so you might as well start the folder now, what ever you send print a copy off for your file.

a good tip is to email it to your own email address or store it on a flash drive [or mp3 player} then you have a back up if your computer crashes between now and settlement. [it has happened a few times]
