I have looked through my business statements and there is one charge taken each month, and also I have been charged several facility fees.

Can anyone tell me if I can claim for both these?

Or do I need to write to them for a breakdown?

HELP!

I think you have duplicated your posting in the wrong forum.

A person is only as big as the dream they dare to live.

Good things come to he who waits

Its your money taken unlawfully from your account and you have a legal right to claim it back.

Have you looked on this thread it might help you. http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/yorkshire-bank-clydesdale-bank/63052-business-claims-against-yorkshire.html

A facility fee is a payment made by a borrower to a lender for arranging a loan. So it looks like a standard terms and conditions fee. Not a penalty fee.

 Hi,

Borrowing rate up to £15000 is 9%.

Excess over this is 29.5%

Would it be advisable to go for compounded contractual rate of 20% (difference between above figures)??

I am aware I cannot claim for arrangement fees BUT,

Every month - my statement will say for example:-

Interest 86.59

Excess Borrowing 31.50 (9 days at 3.50)

Account Charges 92.10

Do I claim for all these? And wait for the breakdowns when i go to court?

Brian

You can't claim contractual interest, but you can claim the interest on the part of the overdraft that relates to charges. Use the advanced spreadsheet in the Bank Templates Library to calculate this.http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/bank-templates-library/182-6-interest-calculation-spreadsheets.html

You can certainly claim the daily charges.
