I am currently helping a friend of mine claim back their bank charges and it has reached the stage where we are looking at filing a court claim.

Is it possible for me, (who has no legal experience by the way), to represent her in court?

Can i just fill in the details on the moneyclaim website?

She is very scared of the prospect of going to court herself and i doubt she would even do it if it meant she had to.

Thanks in advance for the advice

You will have to ask the permission of the court to allow you to act as a "MacKenzie Friend".

You may receive different advice to your query as people have different experiences and opinions. Please use your own judgement in deciding whose advice to take.

If in doubt seek advice from a qualified insured professional. Any advice I have offered you is done so on an informal basis, without prejudice or liability.

Ive had a look into that and it seems that that only lets you stand with them and give information. What if they wanted me to represent them without them being there, is this even possible??

Yes but they have to ask leave of the court....................court would probably prefer it if they were there too to ensure they were happy with your handling so could refuse if think you aren't up to it
