Hi

I am claiming £2,300 from HSBC.

I have been following Martin Lewis's step by step guide to reclaiming bank charges.

I have received no offers to date and I am now at court stage. I have today received a defence to my claim. There is a sentence on the covering court letter regarding the completeion of the allocation questionnaire, however, this has been scored through as if not applicable.

Everywhere I am reading says about this Allocation Questionnaire and so I am very confused as to why I have not been asked to complete one and how this will affect me/my claim?? Can anyone help??

Thank you

Guest louis wu

There are some courts (so I'm led to believe) that have decided to leave out the AQ to speed things along. Not sure how accurate that is, but there are more posts saying the same as you, so it could have some merit.

Best advice, phone the court and ask them.

Good luck

Louis

Same here-both Nat West and Nationwide are defending my claims but when the court to me to thsi effect no AQ's were included.

So as you say Louis maybe this is a new policy to speed things up-lets hope!!
