Hi Everyone.

I have sent all my previous letters and am up to the putting a claim in stage. I am just wondering wether its worth ringing the bank and seeing if they will settle before I commence this action. Is this advisable and if so what is the best number to contact them on. I am panicing a bit because their time ran out on the 17th of March and I haven't got the court fee at the moment. Obviously if court can be avoided that would be a load off, but do Lloyds always go to court?

Thanks For any advice.

I've always found that Lloyds are very unresponsive over the phone. They usually drag these things out til the last minute.

It might be worth rinin them, but don't expect anything - most cases have gone as far as a hearing date.

A waste of time probably. I've never known them to settle in full at this stage.

Doesn't matter, just wait till you have the money for court fees

No, never, but you will have to file a claim to be paid in full.

Hi Toyota and Michael,

Thanks for the advice. I did think ringing them could be a waste of time and you've both confirmed that. I will put a claim in when I get the funds. After the last letter I sent and two weeks pass with no reply. is there a time limit that I need to put the court claim in? Is it better to do it at a local court or use MCOL?

Hi, I posted my LBA today. Does going to local court make the process any faster and can you use any court? I live in wakefield?
