:-x Hiya, wondered if anyone else had this......,I got one complete set of bank statements today for one account. ( out of the 3 accounts that I requested full dpa on, they have only sent one accounts info) . They are complete date-wise, but the package was totally ripped open exposing the bankstatements and my details and 'left on me doorstep!!!' The statements dating back to 97 were heavy - and were parcelled up in 2 flimsey brown envelopes not padded or secure! I'm not happy!! Is there anything I can do? I did take pics? I have sent another letter today reminding them they have yet to comply within the 40 days and need to get my other bank statements to me by 31st may.

Yes...read the whole sorry story and weep. Also look at the MPs threads - this situation is so sorry that people have taken to writing to their MPs...it is an unforgiveable state of affairs...

Yep, my statements from Nat West were delivered in a thin brown envelope that inevitably spilled its contents all over the post office floor. It was left outside my front door in a clear plastic bag from the post office secured with a plastic clip.

ditto, one of my two packages came torn in a flimsy brown envelope. So glad they aren't wasting our hard earned money on decent stationery (sp?) in an effort to keep down the costs of charges to their customers. lol

Bank of Scotland round 1: £740 + costs settled, still sore over the 8% grrr

Bank of Scotland round 2: £629 +101.15 interest +£39 costs settled.
