Hi All those interested

I thought I'd best start a thread as I am starting to get near the court bit!

Just for background info here's what's happened so far...

Claiming £2435

SAR 2 November 2006

Statements sent back 16 November 2006

Refund of charges request 21 November 2006

Sorry you had to complain letter from Bs 28 November 2006

LBA sent 14 December 2006

Here have a £1000 as a gesture letter from Bs 20 December 2006

Response to settlement letter 27 December 2006

MCOL 9 January 2007

Notice of Issue deemed served on 14 January 2007

So... I wait....

Am I right in thinking I should be starting to put together the court bundle and getting ready to fill in the AQ?

Any pointers at this stage would be handy.

Not nervous just excited and apprehensive!!

Well done to all those who have obviously spent a huge amount of time putting this website together and WELL DONE to all those who are taking the time to help stop the banks ripping us off!;)

Cheers

Well I would say welcome but that's a bit "horse bolted and gate" type of statement so I'll just say - woo, woo, woo!

Well done, I wouldn't start dusting down the woolly white wig and black cape just yet though as far as the Court is concerned the papers aren't deemed served until Sunday, you should then see the offer/settlement come any time following that, it seems like the longest time though let me tell you. Be patient and it will come!

Let us know what happens.

Hi All

Barclays replied on 25th (Friday) so I guess now that I wait for my AQ?

Is that correct?

I don't quite understand the process next - can someone correct me here if I am wrong?

Now wait for AQ and Prepare Court Bundle

Data Protection Act sent 4 November 2006

Statements received 20th November 2006

Preliminary letter sent 21 November 2006

Standard acknowledgement of complaint reply received 28 November 2006

LBA sent 14 December 2006

Offer Received 20 December 2006

Offer declined 27 December 2006

Filed for Court via MCOL 9 January 2007

Notice of Issue served on 14 January 2007

Claim acknowledged on 25 January 2007

Questions:

Is the Notice of Issue the same as Acknowledgement?

Preparing the court bundle is all the above - yes?

Just seen New strategy for AQ's - should I follow this??

I will read through the FAQs etc again slowly to make sure but there are so many bits and pieces to get together!!!

Guess I am just a little nervous that I want to get it right - bit of a control organisational freak!!!

Anybody's comments would be really helpful
