Well having already started my own claim with Barclays, my Bride to be has decided that I should do hers as well seeing as I've already done the reading. So off we go.... Got her statements, and it would appear approx. 4 - 4.5k is heading our way in approx. 5 months time (given the average length of successful claims on here), and assuming they don't pay straight up (we can all dream, especially when we're meant to be busy planning our wedding in 9months time!).

 

Have sent the Pre-lim today, so lets see how we get on. Would really appreciate any advice you guys can give me.

Definitely the right time to start - nine months before you actually need the money!

Get those holiday brochures out now! Think Caribbean rather than Cornish Riviera;)
