DEBT CENTRE TRAFFORD - DWP - "TAX CREDIT OVERPAYMENT" when self employed

Would this be classed as a consumer debt or a priority debt? Been reading up and there are mixed reviews.

i.e can they use enforcement action or simply and only use a DCA to pester me?

they have already said what they MIGHT do.

we haven't got a crystal ball.

yours is not the next move.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Look at it like a game of chess.

It's their move.

You can't possibly decide on your next move until they move...

We could do with some help from you.

Thanks. My only concern was ‘debt centre trafford’ who said I had till 18th December to set up a payment plan.
Or am I caving in to their threat wing language?

i have already explained this.

if you'd posted up the letter in post ONE 99% of all these other 83 posts would not have been necessary.

  • 2 weeks later...

Got this letter yesterday. They made their move.

I was wondering, if to either write to them or call them and ask them to prove to me, or demonstrate to me, or show me in the paperwork how i owe this money?

Clearly their numbskulls won't listen to me otherwise?!

wish you'd take the bother to RENAME YOUR FILES. not just use the default name the scan gives it.

ignore

nothing you need to do.

we may send a dca after you.

big deal they aren't bailiffs - ignore too.

They haven't "made their move" mrk.

Read things carefully and take note of the actual wording...

"consider moving to the next step of our process"
also
"This could include asking a dca...."

So they're thinking about making their move.

We could do with some help from you.
