please help - what interest can be claimed on top of the charges. Debit interest? Overdraft interest? Contractual interest? etc.

I know I can claim 8% sec 69 interest when I go to court (if). Is it best to just claim this interest.

It's totally up to you which type of interest you want to reclaim, if any. Have a look through the spreadsheets which will help you decide.

You can choose between statutory interest 8% (applied at court stage) or contractual interest at rate they charged you applied from first letter asking for it back stage. mine for abbey was 9.9%.
