not a bad idea but I don't think you'll understand it then.

to clarity......

you CANNOT simply use the interest stated linking that with 'anything'

to simply say 'those two items caused me to be over £1300 so your owe me more.

you need to understand 'what' your are arguing about.

'whatever' cause the interet figure in 'a' month

was made of a variety of things.

their package fees

YOUR spending

the interest the £1300 OD is costing you.

so

a % of the int charged will be YOUR SPENDING

a % of interest charged will be THEIR PACKAGE FEES charged to that month.

so you will need to workout 'what' % of the int WAS the accumulated package fee to that date

if say you opened the account on 1st jan 2009

feb £15

mar £15 [accumulated now £30)

apr £15 [sum now £45]

geddit?

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

So I need to work out what the interest of those figures was? Way too complicated :( and its going to take me ages.

I phoned them up today and asked them to give me an explanation in writing how they came up to £54 refund. They said they will either give me a written explanation or they will reopen the complaint. So the complaint was already closed to them.

yes, seems wld need to distinguish between what your spending cost, and what the missell cost was. otherwise, take the 1100k and close it.

see what their letter says first.

No they basically just said the same they said in the first letter. That they refunded charges that were caused by package fees and thats all. They didnt include any breakdown. I feel like writing them a letter asking them for a proper breakdown as I asked them for this on the phone and they didnt provide it. Its not been reopened tho but I think they can reopen it if I write to them. What do you think?

Any update on this zuzanka? Did you manage to get the charges back or the interest rate that they charged you?
