I had my wages arrested several years ago to pay back the council tax i owed paid nearly all back and yesterday came home to letters from walker love sheriff officers stating that i have seven days to pay back all the money i have already paid and the letter states it terminates any current instalment arrangement earlier agreed, i pay a percentage of my wages every week what happens now worried sick.

If it was Walker Love who placed the origional wages arrestment, get in touch and ask them for statements of all payments made on the account, your employer will also have a record of these deductions from your wages.

Can you confirm that since the wages arrestment was put in place that you have also paid your on going liabilities. I know this may sound a stupid question, but you would be surprised at the number of people who think that on going Council Tax is included in the arrestment.
