Hey all,

I require some help/ advise with regards to an account I recently held with Capital One.

The credit card was opened in April 2011 and all payments were made in full on a £300 limit.

However I have failed to make any payments sine November 2011.

I ignored all correspondence and decided to face upto all of my debt recently.

The account went into default last month May 2012 according to my Equifax report.

I wanted to know if anybody thought capital one would consider reopening the account if i gave a resonable excuse as the account is only recently closed

and I really need the card if I stand any chance of improving my credit.

Thank you for all answers

well they've prob just closed but not terminated

so if you cough

it should be re-instated.

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Hi Capital one issue ''credit building'' cards and

they are excellent for rebuilding a credit reputation

BUT if you fail to maintain the account fully they will

default the account and sell it on pretty quickly.

They are not known for giving ''second chances''.

You can try..............!
