Barclays Email Address To Cancel CPA??

Hi, ive just phoned barclays to cancel two CPAs I have with wonga and Txtloan, as it seems with everyone else, they refuse and say they cant do it, which clearly the law states they must, therefore I want to email them today, im guessing they will still refuse, but I will then have the request in writing, so I can forward this on to the FSA, when I complain to them. Its on one of there basic accounts, can anyone help me with an email address.

But thats for barclaycard yes?? this is just one of there basic accounts?

It's the right one, I used it last week. It's for credit/debit card transactions. You would have made ypou CPA on your debit card.

If you use the email address shown above, make sure you remove the "space" which our site always puts into email addys.

 

There is ongoing concern about the banks' poor attitude to cancelling Continuous Payment Authorities.

 

If you want one cancelled, put your request in writing and send it Recorded Delivery.

 

Or hand deliver the letter to your branch but get a receipt signed for it.

 

If they fail to action the cancellation immediately, complain to the manager. If no joy there, write to the London HQ.
