Hi there,

I finally received my SAR information back from Santander today however there is only information for 1 of the 5 loans that I enquired about.

That loan (from 2001) showed that I did have PPI but what can I do about the others?

The covering letter said that some historic records may have been destroyed due to time elapsed.

Any advice greatly received:smile:

Hi Dx,

There was one other loan in 2001 and the others were after that.

Looking back at my statements the one that they've provided me information with was an Abbey loan however the others were with the Alliance and Leicester-is this relevant?

Many thanks for anymore advice.

Sorry me again!

Is there a template 'failure to comply' letter or do I just stick all the details down on my own letter or would it be worth a phone call to them?

Many thanks again for your help.

Hi Jondanbob,

The reasons for my mis-sell were that I was self employed at the time of taking out the policy and I worked for less than 16 hours a week. You had to work for more than 16 hours to claim. Also my husbands wages were substantial enough to cover my half of the mortgage if I was unable to work.

Good luck with your claim, nothing to lose by trying!

Woodyt
