Moorcroft chasing debt that has no CCA

are they ringing a works number or just your own personal phone whilst at work? can't recall the OC but 1st credit just bouhgt a load of debts - so has it been assigned. if it has they will have no paperwork.

There is no CCA agreement. I asked Lloyds for it years ago when I SAR'd them so it's been in dispute ever since.

 

They are ringing my actual work phone (and my mobile whilst at work).

 

I assume Moorcraft just sold them this debt cheap as they were having no luck with me.

Make a complaint to the DCA phoning your work place!

I refer to an alleged debt for £ xxxxxxx.xx which is being persude by xxxxxxx on behalf of xxxxxxxx, please note I do not acknowledge any debt to xxxxxx or any company it may claim to represent.

 

 

I am receiving phone calls at my place of work regarding this matter, a situation that is causing me difficulties and embarrassment at work.

 

 

You are instructed to cease all calls to my work telephone number and my mobile phone number and landline number immediate and to remove these numbers from your records.

 

 

I remind you of the OFT Guidance on Debt Collection and the sections regarding the alleged debtors require ments as to how, when and where they are contacted, contact must now be in writing via Royal Mail.

 

 

You should also be aware of the OFT Guidance regarding conduct likely to cause embarrassment to ban alleged debtor this most certainly applies to contacting me at work.

 

 

I am aware that this alleged debt has " done the rounds" of the "debt collection industry" for some considerable time, no company has provided unequivocal proof that I have any liability for this debt.
