I sent an SAR to the Halifax on the 8th Sept, four days later I phoned the Halifax to check if they received it, they confirmed they had but said I would have to pay a £5 fee (no problem, it was less than I expected), however, before I had a chance to pay them the money all my old statements turned up in the post, has anyone else had this happen to them.

P.S. looks like they owe my approx. £2000, not including interest.

If what we say helps you, then please tip the scales.

I sent my SAR to my local branch - you have to make sure you include account number, sort code and roll number or they use this to stall (I didn't put my roll number on initially!) My request for repayment letter then went to the Trinity Way address. Hope this helps.
