Hi,you must wait until 14 days are up on your LBA,and then file your court claim.Stick to your timetable it`s hard todo I know,but you will win in the end.Good luck.

Halifax just called back,and said they have 30 days to put in a defence not 14 days,they dispute my acknowledgment of their letter by phone and email,but have agreed and apolagised about delay to put the cash into our account within next 2 hours. So all new claimers be aware of the mind games that Halifax are now playing they have up`d their game plan.Will let you know.

but they have said they would pay us,if I go up and take my judgement before they get a chance to put in a late defence do we still win?

Hi,just an update,I called the court this morning to find out if they had heard anything from Halifax as in a letter I recieved they said they had sent Acknowledgment of service back to court intending to defend,to my suprise the court have heard nothing from them and told me their time was up yesterday,so my husband called Halifax as told todo so by the court to ask when funds would be available in our account,he was placed on hold for 1 hour and 10 mins,so he hung up and called back to be told he would not be placed on hold again she would go and get a manager,only for her to put the phone down on him,he then had a fag chilled out a bit and called again only to be told that a manager would call him back before 1 oclock today to resolve this matter.

Hi,everyone I`m calm today,still nothing their 7 days is up today I`m not going to contact them just wait,if still nothing by monday I will give them a calm stress free call.Thanks for all advice will let you know.

thanks Julie,he`s read this and is going to call,they were given to the 9th to put in a defence and they have acknoledged claim,so do I fill in the a/q when the court sends them or what?MY FIGHT IS STILL GOING ON.

I just rang them payed 5 pounds and recieved them 3 days later.

Hi,I had mine issued to the Halifax on the 26th october and got response from them on 4th november which was about 11 days,so it won`t be to long now it`s just a waiting game.All good things come to those who wait.(so they say) I`m still waiting for money to go in bank. GOOD LUCK.

I got the same letter don`t worry about it.

Still nothing,what they tried to do was knock some money off saying that I was not entiled to anymore,but they agreed to pay court cost that I didnt have to pay so it balance out and if I agree to take it which I have I get a little bit more if you see what I mean.

Accepting the conditions,that I will manage my account properly in the future.
