Should you contact the van bailiff?

 

No unless you can record the call imho, he may call if he does don't let him in, make sure there is nothing outside he can take. Even though he has a walking posession he cannot break in bring locksmiths have people arrested etc, there must be consent from the council and he must give a time and date to attend to remove. others will be able to help further, but the complaint may have to be escalated to CEO, local councillor and MP, if they continue.

 

Who e'mailed you, the council or bailiff company?

Well thanks we have had conformation from the counsel that the debt is being returned to them.:|

but he still has to pay balif charges to them these are yet to be confirmed he owes

a visit which included a walkin possesion order

a return visit whilst he was out and a letter through his letter box

I would dispute the extra charges from any visit subsequent to council receipt of letter, others will know more, and be able to calculate what the legitimate fees owing are.

d - The name(s) of the Court(s) the Bailiff(s) was/were certificated at.

e - The date of the Certification.

This is not a Subject access request under the Data Protection Act S7 1998 so does not incur a fee of £10.

The National Standards for Enforcement Agents state that if a written request is made an itemised account of fees will be provided.

Please provide the information requested within 14 days of this E-mail /recorded delivery letter
