MBNA & Aegis - Are they linked

Hi all,

 

Was hoping for a bit of help with this one.

 

I owed MBNA £1,100 on a credit card which ended up being passed to AEGIS for collection. I negotiated a partial settlement of £600 with the DCA and paid that as agreed at £200 per month for 3 months.

 

Now almost two months after the last payment my credit file has not been updated. I have written to MBNA twice to get clarity on this and make sure AEGIS were acting on their behalf.. NOTHING.

 

They certainly were fast enough to send me letters before, but don't seem so keen now.

 

Any thoughts?

aegis and mbna r all one aegis is the debt department of mbna are the account managers as they ahve worded on my letter phone num 08081013406 are write to customer assistance ,mbna ebl po box 30 chester ch4 9fd i have a letter from mbna on one side of page mbna on back of page agegis so they r connected hope this helps

Thank you, that is very helpful.

 

I would imagine they are in no particular rush to update my credit file or reply to me as I am no longer a priority.

 

Will keep chasing them to update my file though.
