That's an old article now. I tried to find out who these alleged people were but no one came forward to various forum appeals so I'm guessing it's either incorrect or there were particular circumstances, such as the lady who contacted me who did get a refund as she was still within her cancellation period, just days before Advent went bust. Either that or these people had a gagging order put on them.

Yes I did say from the begining,that Barlays would no doubt request signing of non disclosure given the size of numbers of those involved.

Its very disappointing that the regulators have not been more open too.

At the very least I expected to have seen something posted on their websites,given the numbers involved.

It was also continually repeated that victims who could show clear grounds of a cause of action,could have proceeded to small claims-I am sure that many have taken this route,and that if Barlays had won any,we would have heard about them by now.

The article above is interesting since it gives everything on one page,including the negatives between the original offerings and those of alternative.
