Judgement Procedures & Last Known Address

I am in need of some advice on the procedures an organisation has to go through so that can get an enforcable judgement?

 

I am interested in the statement "last know address". How is this defined by the courts or the legal system?

 

I have a CCJ issued to an address i lived at ages ago, the creditor had my home address where i have been contactable till present, but been a student i also have term addresses, which is there judgement was sent too.

 

The judgement was send to the address 4 months after i had moved out, and they never tried to contact me on my home address.

 

So i was wondering, in law, how is a last know address defined, and do they have any requirements to check that i am not living at the address they have on record for me before they go and try another address?
