Has anyone tried to launch a complaint against an employee of this company? Tried to launch several complaints against a member of staff but head office just keep fobbing me off. What this chap has done is unacceptable as ive written several letters to him requesting all communications to be done in writing...he seems not to be able to read as he still phones, and what really 'gets on my goat' is he phones work and this i demanded was to stop. Any suggestions?

only about 5-6weeks....seems pretty lame. ive looked through the OFT and trading standards website, so my next letter will be containing some interesting quotes. of course it shall be reg post as these clowns will probably deny getting it. Im afraid the police can do nothing about it, they wouldnt be interested. Many people in their jobs dont really know as much as they should, i find this with some bank clerks.

Hello lostinspace. There are various Template letters in the Harassment Section Of CAG Libraries. Use the One for Telephone Harassment (obviously) that should bring an end to the calls, but don`t hold your breath. If you send it and he ignores it, is there any way you can record the calls, great. If not, make sure you keep a log of times and dates of all the calls. May be handy later. Here`s the link. Edit it to suit the situation and insist there are no calls to you husbands work or you will contact Trading Standards.

5 or 6 weeks is not Pretty Lame. The **** Monkey Shouldn`t Do It!

Has he ever done a " Field Call " to your property?

In my mind there are two ways ( three actually, but using the third is only for your own immediate gratification, and will get you in big trouble ) to deal with " Doorstep Visits ". First is to send the Other harassment template dealing with planned visits. They seem to listen to this more than the Telephone one.

The other is to wait until he visits again ( if he does this) then dial 999 and report a trespasser who is Stalking and Harassing you. If he is still there when they arrive, which I doubt very much he will be, then make sure the Police Understand that this is a Criminal Offence and they are Not there to side with him, but to Prevent a " Breach of The Peace " and in your view they should escort the Stalker from the property to prevent a " Breach of the Peace " from happening.

It may also benefit you to start a thread on the Debt Collection Section. There may be some thing there that helps to give this animal his comeuppance. Even the Legal Issues area might help? Here are the links.

This letter is a formal request pursuant to s.77 to s.79 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974.. I require you to provide me with a true copy of the credit agreement relating to the above account, together with any other documentation the Act requires you to provide.

Send the letter Ozz has posted. And The ones I linked. Let`s see what happens.

When you get the reply to The CCA Request We will know what charges you have, and what can be claimed back. That £25 for a start. They have 14 days to get this to you. If not then you can legally dispute the agreement, at least until they do send it.

When/ If You do have the CCA Post it up for more advice. Then we will send A subject Access Request ( SAR). This will give us the real measure of how they have treated the account and what remarks they have made about you and your husband. They will have put down all calls and visits and the reasons WHY they made them. there should also be transcripts of the actual calls I beleive. These are normally very interesting. We can go from there with a view to sorting out the people at your local office. If it still exists?lol;)

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
