Just need further help re above pls.

Ive rang my bank and reported card lost and theyve put a stop

on it and sending new one.

However my online internet banking is attached to the card and bank

say I cant do online banking until new card is received. New pin takes

7 days, new card 10 days and up to 14 days for internet banking.

 

So I had to cancel my direct debits to poundstillpayday and wageday

advance on the phone with my bank. Do I need to keep ringing my bank

every day now to check theyve not tried to set up another direct debit.

 

pay day this friday when loans are due.

 

Would I need to email my bank AND the loan companies above too

to say I remoke any previous agreement etc to try and take any

funds out of a/c ?

 

Just further help would be really good as Im so worried that on friday

my wages will all be gone.

They are easy dealt with. As I am on modest repayment plans I don't want to read my approach - just in case they recognize me!

OK Dizzy. I doubt they can spot me as they must have hundreds of these defaults.

 

I replied to a WDA e-mail (payment failed) and said that I was having financial difficulties and was in discussions with a DMP. I offered them £10 per month but would have to pay by standing order as no longer had debit card or direct debit facilities. They readily accepted and have not tried to set up direct debit in the two months I have been paying. They said they would review in 3 months.

 

PTP - I made it clear to their Overseas chap that I could not pay and would have to have a repayment plan. They made it clear they could only hold for a month before passing to Clarity. Again I pleaded poverty with Clarity (their DCA) and pay £10 per month. They have not tried anything untowards with my bank account.

 

Cancel direct debits (double check on Thursday) and make sure they don't have your card details. You then decide what they receive.

 

To be honest I have had no problem with these two.
