Hi,

First of all you will need to know how much they have taken off you in charges. If you don't know then send them this:

http://www.consumerforums.com/resources/templates-library/86-debt-collectors/576-subject-access-request-debt-a-dca

Send by recorded delivery with a £10 postal order. You may need to sign the letter but if you do, put a couple of lines through it to make it unliftable.

they have 40 days to reply to you. If you have moved house since you took out the agreement, you will need to supply the previous address too.

good luck

Of course you can, you could even claim interest on the charges too at their standard rates.

Make sure, when you get the info back that you scrutinise everything. You'd be surprised what might be hidden in your file.
