I am so bloody fed up of waiting for my statements to come through the post.

 

I think they are taking the **** out of me because i never sent my letter asking for statements recorded delivery, i just thought oh im bound to have them within 40 days but still nothing as of yet, I received a letter of acknowledgement dated 14th July but still no statements

just a bit of a rant really.

 

can anyone tell me how long i should be looking to receive them after this letter

Hi Moony,

There doesn't seem to be a typical response rate. I got my statements about 10 days after i sent the DPA, and I also didn't send it recorded. You could ring or go into your branch and ask them when you'll get them, but be careful not to get into any discussion about your claim on the phone-you need everything in writing if it goes to court. While you are waiting for your statements keep reading as much as you can on here, so you will know what to expect and how to proceed. post any questions in this thread and keep it updated.

11/8/06 - sent off non compliance letter giving 7 days from receipt

right, i have had no statements come within the 40 day period, i sent them a letter stating they have 7 days to comply otherwise i willbegetting a court order to make them comply, can anyone tell me how i go aboutthis please

If you're going to threaten taking a bank to court, it might be a good idea to find out how you go about it before you do it!

thanks. i know i should ofchecked it out first but was hoping to at least get past the first hurdle of getting the statements, they have had the tenner for them.

UPDATE

today i had a letter saying that i need to pay a fiver before they will send any statements(cheeky sods) so i rang them to tell them i had paid a tenner already for the statements by cheque. they were unable to find any check gone out of my account, derrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, it was a check out my partners account.

 

said they will send them out tomorrow so with a bit of luck il have them next week

need help seriously.

 

last time i spoke to them was last thur, said they would be sent out the following day.

 

rang wed to see where they were, said because of bank holiday should be here thur, nothing thur. decided to give them til fri.
