Send them a letter headed ACCOUNT IN DISPUTE Tell them you are awaiting a response from your perfectly legal request and until you receive it there will be no further correspondence. As for their "visit" don't worry add this in your letter

"I also note from your letter that you intend to arrange a "doorstep call". Please be advised that under OFT rules you can only visit me at my home if you make an appointment and I DO NOT WISH to make an appointment with you. There is only a license under common law for people to be able to visit me on my property without express permission: the postman and people asking for directions etc (Armstrong v Sheppard and Short Ltd [1959] 2 QB per Lord Evershed M.R.). Therefore take note that I revoke license under common law for you or your representatives to visit me at my property and if you do so, then you will be liable to damages for a tort of trespass and civil action will be taken."

They are highly unlikely to send someone out, if they do tell them to bog off or you will call the police. Until they comply with your request they can do b*gger all:D

All of their letters are sent out by a computer so don't worry, just keep copies of all the stuff they send you.

The only signed letter we had from Moorcroft was one when they passed the account back to creditor due to lack of agreement!!

Have you reported their actions to the OFT?

HAVE YOU BEEN TREATED UNFAIRLY BY CREDITORS OR DCA's?
