I've been recently having a bit of a fight over a couple of my accounts with the said Bank. My normal Business Manager is Fantastic and even admits, verbally, that the customers get ripped off. Good thing nothing links me to my real name here.

My account got taken away from branch level to the heavy mob. Who proceeded to threaten me with a default notice and cancel all my overdraft and loan arrangements and take me to court to claim the funds, quite a lot of money really. I have written a number of letters during this process without really acheiving very much. After joining this sight I quoted from one of the template letters regarding the OFT report etc in my most recent letter. Strangely they have become rather co-operative and any thought that they would try and close my accounts etc has been forgotten. They're even reviewing what I've been charged with a view to a refund. Sounds too good to be true so I shall keep you posted on what actually happens.

I should add that if I were to claim for the charges over the last six years it would be more than what they claim I owe them, make for an interesting court battle.

Natwest watch this site closely by the way. But you probably already knew that.

Good luck all
