HELP they are thretening to register the debt with the credit referencing agencies

Can they do this as the charges still havn't been deemed legal?

They are going to charge me £240 for unpaid DD's. I've told them that i'm not going to credit the account again untill the decision is made by the courtcase.

 

They then said that they would register the the debt.

 

But as far as I'm aware they can't do that as the charges have not been deemed leagal.

Have you started the process of reclaiming the charges Simon?

if you havent then the first thing to do is send of your s.a.r

send them a letter to say the account is in dispute. and if they send your account to debt collectors send them an account in dispute letter as well.

this worked for me as they tried two debt collection agencys,so i sent both agencys the dispute letters and that was the last i heard from them.
