  2. Sorry Tilly! They are going to charge me £240 for unpaid DD's. I've told them that i'm not going to credit the account again untill the decision is made by the courtcase. They then said that they would register the the debt. But as far as I'm aware they can't do that as the charges have not been deemed leagal.
  3. A few weeks ago I got an offer from the bank, you know the one that says we will settle in full but without admitting liability. All i had to do was sign and return the acceptance form which I did. They accknowledged receipt of the acceptance when I spoke to someone from the litigation department Now yesterday I got a letter saying that they have withdrawn their offer pending the result of the test case. Can they do this?
  4. I have accepted an offer from the yorkshire bank for my charges but they are dragging their feet sending the cheque. They told my in the middle of july that i would have it by the end of the month but now they say that it could take anything upto two months to arrive. surley in this day ad age they could just transfer the money into my account, couldn't they? They are biggining to get on my nerves! I once saw a realy witty letter on here where the sender told the bank that they were going to charge them £30 for sending it. Anyone got any idea where i can find it?
  5. the helifax have issued a default notice against me with the credit reference agencies because i am overdrawn due to the charges imposed on the account. Are they alowed to do this? And do i have the right to appeal against it? I have filed a claim with the court to reclaim the charges so they should be settleing soon anyway. Any advice would be appreciated.
  6. Hi all, I've just recieved my court date - 7th of January! I wasn't expecting it to be as far away as that to be honest. Does anyone know if this is normal?
