  1. Hi There are lots of other people claiming from Abbey in Scotland. Here is one: http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/abbey-bank/13198-andy-t-abbey-scotland.html?highlight=abbey+scotland
  2. Usually the defendant will change the name if incorrect. In my case Cahoot was changed to Abbey National PLC. Hopefully someone else can help, as I am unsure of this TBH.
  3. Hi When the claim is transferred to your local county court you'll get a "notice of transfer of proceedings" with your allocation questionnaire. I would then write a covering letter to the district judge with your allocation questionnaire explaining this. Don't ammend the claim if they leave the monies in your account. You can't claim back the £35 fee if you do.

    yo-jimmy vs MBNA

Hi Jimmy They have to comply with the request the same way the banks would. You just need to change some text here and there (eg. instead of returned cheques and direct debits, you'd put over limit charges and late payments etc).
  6. Hi Pocla The MCOL is fairly straight forward. Just make sure you get your POC's (particulars of claim) correct (look in the library) and ensure your interest spreadsheet calculations are correct. Any mistakes on the N1 at this point incur a non-refundable fee to ammend. Good Luck.
  7. Hi KJD & Good Luck!
  8. Hi 100 Have you received anything from Cahoot yet?
  9. I assume this is now a "settled in full thread"?
  10. Hi Glenn Take a peek here. http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/royal-bank-scotland/59100-progenic-rbs-advanta.html?highlight=rbs+advanta
  11. Hi Kilmeedy As you know through our PMs, I'm in the same boat as you. Cahoot have sent me a letter "accepting my offer", but I haven't received payment yet. My AQ date is tomorrow, and I have submitted mine. I won't jepordise my claim incase they want to play games. Will call the court tomorrow and see whether they filed their AQ on time.
  12. Hi Kev Mine were jsut after the 40 days were up. As you say, best to rattle the cage and send the "non compliance" letter found in the library. Good Luck
  13. I have Microsoft Office which came with my computer. I paid extra for it and installed it on my computer. I am OK to install office on my laptop right? I think I am, just weanna check.
  14. no, thats fine sent all my correspondence there and had no problems
  15. Hi touristboy was it the colmore row addy?
  16. Hi Spearfish and good luck. Anything your unsure of just shout.
  17. Hi Edna (glad to see your abck on ITV soon.... lol) Its just a stalling tactic. Its your claim, stick to your time limits. After 14 days are up from your first letter, proceed to the next stage. I would recommend using the LBA (letter before action) and other templates from the library here on CAG. Money Saving Experts letters are OK, but if your using this site too, it can get confusing, and we won't know what you've sent. http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/bank-templates-library/
  18. Whoops, I stand corrected. I'm with AOL and need a new modem and software as Vista doesn't support it.
  19. As far as I know, you own the software through purchasing your laptop. Obviously you are obliged under copyeight laws not to reproduce it, but for your own use your OK. How are you getting on with Vista? One big headache for me. Which ISP are you with?
  20. Hi April 3 Which bank are you claiming from? Have they had your prelimary letter for a week of your subject access request?
  21. Freaky, I'm a twin (to many coinsendences going on here). Yeah, I'm a HGV driver and delivered there a few years back, looks dirty in my opinion, I didn't recognise it. Anyway, I think we may get rapped by a mod, for not staying on topic.
  22. I'm 25 and went to Harlington Upper, and had a lot of friends in Toddington. Spent a lot of time there. A few of the pubs shut now though which is a shame. Been in Ampthill a couple of years now. Before then used to live in Clophill.
