  1. Ive had an email sent to my email address from cash genie but its for somebody else?! Who should i contact to inform them about this data protection breech? I must admit i chuckled when i read it. I have an outstanding loan with this company and think its bad that they have done this. Sorry ive posted on this post but not sure how to do my own.
  2. I agree with the above, aslong as you are honest and explain they shouldnt hold it against you. Ive worked in care for years and have known people who have had records and still got the job. Good luck in getting it x
  3. I would email them back and stick with your offer and tell them to accept or you'll pay token payments of £1 per month. Theyre just trying it on.
  4. A DCA acting for Tower capital have tried contacting me this week. To be honest i forgot all about them, thought it was paid up. This was from 2009. Told them £5 pm but Gothia not responding to my emails
  5. Haha. Yeah please do. I wonder if shes the one that replies to all the emails i send to claims
  6. Lol. Did u get much sense out of her? I do hope these lose their license.
  7. No worries hun, like liz01 says, do it online. I got a nationwide account online with no probs. In regards to minicredit, dont panic, if you do ur playing into their hands. Ive been trying to arrange payment plan with them, i have more chance of collecting rocking horse poop lol, currently waiting for it to go to dca. Dont speak to them on the phone, email claims @minicredit as they seem to be the only ones to eventually reply. This site is brill and i wish i found it sooner, but im working my way out of this mess ive made with the advice of others on here.
  8. Yes get a new bank account and do NOT give them ur details!! Its a relief knowing ur money is safe again.
  9. Well done yorktoffee!! If only everyone can do that lol
  10. Who do u owe to? Pay day express have agreed payment plan and so far not had no other contact. Ive got myself out of mess with a few pdl's, just one that wont play ball
  11. If they take the debit attempt fees which last i was told stand at £530 and the 2 doorstep collection charges of £100 each will drastically reduce the amount. I can be a stubborn mare and i wont back down from original loan amount one months interest and one default fee, not the 3 theyre trying to get. Should i keep offering the payment plan to minicredit until it is passed over to opos or should i just wait for them? Thanks for your help renegadeimp, you are a star
  12. Well i am now waiting for minicredit to pass my account onto dca in 23 days time so i can come to an arrangement with them :/ hopefully they'll be easier than trying to get blood out of a stone! Sent oft an email outlining my complaint against minicretin and got a reply basically saying sorry that this has happened however we cant do anything?! Disappointed big time
  13. Same here. Im paying pay day express via payment plan £10 per month, reviewing in 3 months, i must admit it took a few attempts to sort it but stuck to my guns and it was sorted. I have their bank details if you need them. The advice on here is brilliant, certainly an eye opener to what certain pdl are like.
  14. I took it out in oct, due to have been paid back 16th nov. Its my own fault im in this mess, but im trying to get sorted. Other pdl's i have have been no real hassle to be fair. Eddiesmum, i expect theyve shot themselves in the foot doing that lol silly them.
  15. Already changed bank account, i wont be giving details out. They sent a letter, will try post it up in a bit but im using my phone so ill do my best. Ive already told them im only paying original loan amount, 1 months interest and 1 default fee they can whistle for the rest
  16. Hi renegade, thanks for the reply, no ive not had any claim letters as yet. Ive kept all letters, emails to and from them. So what should i do now? The only emails that seem to get answered by these people are claims@minicredit and its pretty much the same drivel each time. Should i just keep emailing my payment plan offer?
  17. Im having a nightmare with minicredit, a £100 loan now stands at £935!!! £530 of this is debit attempt fees im trying to set a paynent arrangement up but got a letter yesterday saying theyre taking me to court. I will defend my case as i have sent numerous emails to come to an arrangement. Sent oft an email detailing the problems im having with them, waiting for reply. I have asked for their bank details so i can start making payments but coming up against a brick wall. This is tge only company that have been difficult, makes me feel like they dont want me to pay. I hope they do take me to court and apply to make me bankrupt coz they will be doing me a favour! I have kept all correspondance, including their ibvisible doorstep collector letters (2 of) both with a £100 charge. About to give up with them and either wait for court or dca. Any advice on my next step would be greatly appreciated.
  18. No sorry dont have qq, had debt in past with them and if i remember rightly i set up a payment plan and paid via dd, i know its not reccomended but to b fair had no probs with it. PDE details are: S/C. 202461 A/N. 30066850 Just make sure u put ur pde ref number in. Ive got a payment plan with them eventually, took a while to sort tho voz they wouldnt play ball but just stick to it and dont give in. Hope that helps hun x
  19. Ive had no experience with uncle buck. I had one with txtloan, must admit they were helpful enough. I have currently got peachy, cash genie, pde and mini credit. Minicredit just give me a headache trying to come to an arrangement, waiting for it to go to dca now.
  20. Def dont send bank statements, payslip may b ok, depends what info is on it but dont send original copy.
  21. Apoligizes, just seen ur earlier message. Youve had more luck than me but with the i/e you dont need to give details of other creditors, they only need something basic.
