  1. Start the process of filing a small claim (or whatever Scot equivalent), I expect she will settle once she realises this is serious - if not, you need to go through with it.
  2. If anyone asks, you are still looking for interim work until that date ....
  3. Lovefilm's CEO is called Simon Calver, I reckon cc simon dot calver at lovefilm.com will do the trick.
  4. Where do you live? Is there really nothing better within 90 minutes travelling time??
  5. Loving this thread - although disagree re energy saving bulbs, they last forever. On the loos, if you are using too much water per flush you can adjust the ball down, you can get small bags that fill up the space in the cistern, or if it's secure enough and can take the weight, just a brick or two.
  6. OK, calm down kids. -I think (don't know) that they will be entitled to take these 'overpayments' against your arrears. -But the current arrangements should be as agreed with them of course - cancelling your DD seems sensible (but need to keep up with payments). -Certainly you need to get all this from them / you in writing.
  7. Very interested to hear what they say ....
  8. Hi there - I'm also new - lots of forums and sub-forums in here!
  9. Just came across this thread but thought worth resurrecting as it's a common issue. Be incredibly careful - there are lots of scams out there around work from home jobs. Avoid anything mentioning Western Union, cashier jobs that involve buying/selling on eBay/Paypal etc. Gumtree has a good page that outlines some of the most common scams in its stay safe section Adzuna has a decent selection of not-so-scammy work from home jobs
