  1. It could be that when it was transferred the judge there requested that an AQ be filled in - yours says the same as mine on the Transfer of Proceedings notice....'unless the DJ at the court of Transfer directs otherwise.' Looks like he/she has!
  2. My claim was submitted before yours, AQ was dispensed with and I have heard nothing from SCM either
  3. One of the other things is that with the new, detailed seller rating, even if you waited 48 / 72 hrs or so to ship the item after the payment was received (which is the usual amount of times it takes for Paypal to reverse or hold the transaction), you are going to get marked down on your shipping speed. Paypal and ebay have sellers over a barrel I think. I sell a lot on ebay and have done for over 8 years. In that time, I have had 5 reversed transactions.....but 3 of those have been in the last 6 weeks. In all of those instances, Paypal didn't give a flying monkeys, even when I had emails saying item received and positive feedback left. The system sucks but yet I agree with the other posted who said if you don't accept it, your sales drop.
  4. Just seen this on The Register - fantastic Businessman takes NatWest for £35k | The Register
  5. Congratulations - let us know when the money lands in your account
  6. There is a letter rejecting part payment in the Library section. Carry on with your claim and deduct £750 from the most recent charges. They *should* credit your account - they did mine but yet others who got told that never received their credit.....and they won't take it back so go spend it
  7. You need to tell them their figures are wrong and that your claim figure already took into account the £750. And you want daily interest since filed and AQ costs. Ring them on Monday or send a fax but make sure you have all your figures to hand.
  8. Oh it is so frustrating isn't it? I see all these people who issued at the same time as me get their settlement letters, and we have got jack-all!!
  9. No problems Keep us up to date and any more problems just ask and there will always be someone around to help.
  10. You can't claim if the charges have not been taken out but by the time it comes to you issuing your court claim, they will have come out....you will be able to add them to your claim at that stage
  11. So in your opinion, it is worth triple-checking your calculations to make sure all the charges you are claiming for are spot on?
  12. Noooooooo...we had that and had so many problems we took it back...out of sync with Sky, picture jumping all over the place. This is the one we got - love it but it is not compatible with sky remotes, so you have to use two. Intekx Next day delivery as well - and they do the 32" for cheaper.
  13. Well then go for it - and enjoy it I like my new TV, by the way - 37" LCD - £499
  14. Don't accept those conditions....especially not the one about remaining within your limit.
  15. You are welcome - lots of people to help you around here if you get stuck
  16. If the claim is below £750 in some (and I mean, a few) they have paid out. Otherwise not a chance. And yes, you can do them in two lots if you wish.
  17. It is common now - they are trying to cut down on court paperwork. All you can do is wait for the hearing date or from SCM with an offer. You could send them a letter, GaryH has done one somewhere, but whether it does any good is debatable.
  18. Ignore it and file the claim - standard letter
  19. If you are not going to accept confidentiality, then tell :) I take it they have offered you a settlement?
  20. Just watch for those conditions before you accept it - but congratulations anyway
  21. Simon - out of interest (as I can't see it or I am having a blind moment), what is the amount you are claiming?
  22. I'd agree to Notifying the court WHEN the money is received (not at this time) and payment into the account. By accepting F&F means you wouldn't be able to claim against them in the future should the need arise.
  23. Not sure - you might want to PM Janet to see if she can help you. She is very big on the whole 'conditions' thing. Like I said, they used to do this and then stopped.
