  1. Hi Todge27 It would help to know if you have any accounts in arrears or if you are on any payment plans with them.
  2. Oh what a bummer Did one of their solicitors turn up then?
  3. Hopefully you will be out by now if you were running to time. Fingers crossed all went well. xx
  4. Definitely, definitely go and please let us know how you go on later. Thing is, you have had a letter offering settlement but received no response so everything is on your side.
  5. You have a court hearing on the 21st August....you need to get your court bundle together, sent to SCM and the court 14 days prior to your hearing, and get yourself to court on that day. There are links to the bundle somewhere, rushing out so cannot look for you. In light of the recent announcement, the court may decide to stay the decision pending the ruling of the test case. If so, you are in the same boat as many of us (my hearing is on the 22nd) and you will probably wait at least 12mths for any money. Lloyds may pay out beforehand as they have been doing......no-one knows yet. Get your bundle done and sent. In all honesty, you should have been well prepared when you first set out doing all this. There was always every possibility that you would end up before a judge so you really need to get reading up big-style now. If you are ill prepared, chances are a judge may well throw out your case.
  6. Did you get an AQ to complete or was it dispensed with?
  7. This is a good idea - I also think it would be good for any of us with definite court dates to list them. That way, we can see if any are settled or put on hold. Mine is 22nd August (claim filed in March)- no letter or anything yet.
  8. Bev, we are linked.....our hearing is on the 22nd August, your bundle has to be in by then! How weird.....
  9. Aaw Bev, we are the same - 7mths on and nothing. Our court date is 22nd August so only another month to go, but I bet the way things are going you get your settlement before me.
  10. Our date is 22nd August and we have heard nothing despite directions, nudge letters being sent. We started the claim at the beginning at the beginning of the year so it really seems to have dragged compared to how quickly they now appear to be paying out. Looks like we were unlucky in the timing when we filed the claim.
  11. Our claim has been going on for 7mths with Lloyds - we have a court date for 22nd August and sent disclosure letters, nudge letters, threatening letters (not really but a nice thought ) and have heard nothing nor have had any settlement letters. You are not alone.
  12. Great news - my date is scheduled for 22nd August and we have heard nothing yet Been going on since January so am getting a mighty bit frustrated with Lloyds!
  13. The account charge - have you got a platinum / select account something like that? That will be the monthly fee they charge you for having a specific account and is NOT claimable. The charges, yes, are lumped together so the £280 will be for numerous failed DD's in that month.
  14. I *know* I have seen this somewhere but can't find it! OK, been booked for parking on a single yellow during restricted hours. Fair play, I did. The PCN is perfectly valid with wording etc so can't do them on that! BUT - this yellow line, which runs for about 150m, has no less than 11 breaks in the line. Some where it has been removed for dropped kerbs, others where it has faded away so badly there is nothing there. The council are supposed to be removing the line anyway but as yet, haven't done. Can anyone point me in the right direction for the legislation about yellow lines? Oh, and incidentally, where it goes from a single to a double, it is on a drop kerb so no T bars. Thanks
  15. I have got my date - 22nd August. We are block listed as well but have no directions for evidence.
  16. Maybe you have been squeezed in? Definitely give them a call about it in the morning as theoretically you should have had your evidence in, according to them. When was the allocation notice issued, what date?
  17. You did put your account number on your claim, didn't you?!
  18. Hold on - are you saying that you received a settlement letter from the bank? Or a judgement from the court?
  19. Copy the letter - we have no idea what you can do unless we can see what you are talking about
  20. I have never had a problem with internet banking with Lloyds and I am waiting a court date - they are so odd!
  21. Just to clarify - was your girlfriend in arrears with the loan and the OD?
  22. I am the same - you wait to hear from your local court but don't hold your breath! Ours has a huge backlog - the transfer notice was dated 30th March and we still haven't heard anything.
