  1. Interesting posts Gallery. Given that the office in Paddock Wood is closed, the website is down, the domain name is for sale and the amount of people on here that are owed either rent, deposits or both from LS, how are you dealing with her? Where exactly is she advertising for you and most importantly, how is she protecting your deposits? It may be a help if you could provide more information to back up your claims. Thanks

  2. Hi & Welcome to CAG, Has the debt been sold or are Asset Link collecting on behalf of Barclays? I would have a check of your Credit reference File to see if anything is listed. If either collecting on behalf of or sold then the debt is transferred with the rights of the repayment agreement in place. Have you got all of your statements? If not send a SAR to Barclaycard and reclaim all late penalty/telephone/letter charges plus any PPI if it was ever added at any time. Do not use any Company to reclaim charges, you can do it yourself for free, just ask away if you need any help. Send Asset Link a CCA request, encl

  4. as from 1/4/2014 all regulated lenders Prime and subprime must comply with PRIN,principles for business FCA to ignore a customers request to put in place a repayment strategy over the existing term of the mortgage would be not only a breach of PRIN, but also of Mcobs the OP should read the FCA Themeatic Review of Interest Only Mortgages http://www.fca.org.uk/static/documents/guidance-consultations/gc13-02.pdf

  5. Have you noted for the forum members who the 'lots of companies do this' are? Please clarify who. It seems to me that many forum members would be interested in this information. As I clearly stated, my two prior companies and also at least 1 if not more prior to those correctly noted and reported my ACTUAL NCD. It possibly may 'make no difference' to those 'lots of companies' you refer, but to others it most likely will, else why do other companies have drop down boxes for selecting more than 9 years NCD? and I for one am not happy with having a company simply discarding years of earned NCD. Also consider that it is false info

  6. Probably the payment is being knocked of the balance monthly then the interest based on the previous balance is added, since the payment is not enough to cover the interest the balance will increase and thus the following months interest will increase. Need to see the statements really.
