In relation to fos complaints and Payday loans

 

 

can someone advise me please.

 

 

I have had some success with two payday lenders I have lent with over the years in relation to compensation received due to irresponsible lending,

 

 

however the majority just dismissed me denying irresponsible lending.

 

 

In their response they advised me if I didn't agree with their decision to contact FOS inside 12 weeks.

 

 

In the end up I didn't contact FOS

 

 

however I regret this now,

 

 

my question is can I still go to FOS with these complaints or has the window passed in relation that I missed this 12 week window.

go get 'em 90% of the time they side with the debtor on PDL stuff

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Thanks for your feedback, unfortunately the six months have passed on most of my complaints now. Is it still worth complaining to the FOS or will it be dismissed as I missed the deadline of six months?

 

There is no harm in submitting a complaint to the FOS. If the companies said you only had 12 weeks to make your complaint to the FOS, then you could say in a covering letter that you have only just learned that you had been misled by the PDL companies as to how much time you had to escalate yoru complaints to the FOS.
