  3. Hi. I think @dx100uk has a handy guide to fill in an N180, hopefully he'll be along later. Yes you should advise when you aren't available. I don't think they ask why, do they? HB
  4. Hey everyone, Last night I received a letter regarding the allocation of my case to the small claims track, along with the N180 questionnaire. Could someone please offer some guidance on filling it out? Additionally, I have a question: I'll be unavailable from May 22nd to May 26th and then from August 17th to August 31st. Should I note these dates in the non-available dates section, or can I be summoned during these periods? Thanks! Directions Questionaire - 15-05-2024.pdf
  5. Today
  6. Sorry for the delay in getting back with the update. Livewell Today did not do anything at all and their engineers report was incorrect with the fault, which i fixed myself in the end, it was a wire of the key switch, which the engineer should have picked up but didnt . so after i fixed the scooter and used it for a week i sold it and got another one ....i left an honest but scathing review on their website and through trust pilot case closed.....many thanks for your help and advise on this one
  7. After seeing your defence, they probably wondered what a detailed statement would look like! Anyway, well done Please pass the word around about CAG to anyone in similar circumstances. Thanks for the donation.
  8. I think it was your response to their claim form that scared them off. We would normally leave that until the Witness Statement because that doesn't give them enough time to counteract a good WS. However DCBL are cowards just like their bailiff section all bluster and heavy with people who don't know how to deal with them but back down quickly when up against tougher opposition. I read your defence again and tried to think who wrote it as one of the things that it did was to point out the failings in the cases that the rogues often put in to help their flawed arguments. didn't sound like anyone from MSE and National Consumer Service hav

  11. I'm sure you could have done without a year's hassle from these crooks. However, think of it as a learning curve so you know what to do in the future should something similar happen again. Sadly the vast majority of motorists who get these invoices think they are fines and something terrible will happen if they don't pay so they give in. You didn't. Well done. Vile firms like UKPC start court claims, even though they have no intention of really going to a hearing, to try to intimidate those terrified of court into coughing up. Presumably it must work. The mugs who pay pay the £35 claim form fee plus £70 Unicorn Food Tax whi
  12. Hie i haven't tried the bank but at the dealership i made one payment which included the deposit and the options and accessories (which included the warranty in question) can the bank do a charge back just for the warranty or it has to be the full amount?
  13. Please clarify this. You got nothing before the demand for £100 on 12 April, right? The only "evidence" about the NTK which would have been £60 was the rubbish in the SAR about not wanting to confront you - right?
  14. ignore everything until or unless you ever get. a letter of claim a statutory declaration or a court claimform. if you do comeback HERE to this thread do ever do anything without checking here FIRST and reading this forum..1000's of posts to read. block / sanitise everything else, phone/txt/email/social media accounts etc. dx

  17. ok are we going to keep teeth pulling or are you going to scan them up please? read upload carefully
  18. That is great news John. I guess that they bottled when they saw your defence-very detailed and headed off some of the arguments that they would have used in their WS. Why would they risk going to court having to answer all those points and finding someone to rebut them would probably cost more than what the Court would have awarded them had you lost [£100 ] since no one at DCBL has that level of knowledge . And they do cave in when they see they have a fight on their hands.
  19. Hie the e-mail was from Momentum Warranties i have attached it and i paid with my debit card the very day i went to collect the vehicle Yahoo_Mail_-_Your_warranty_cancellation.pdf
  20. they called me, I answered and likewise rather than saying hello im...they ask me who I am...err sorry who are you and no im not that person. ok we will not call again.
  21. That’s what I thought, been having tons of actual scam calls and was literally changing my number yesterday. the person on the other end this time spoke with a really clear English accent, which seems odd for a scam.
