Hey, sorry it is me again. I haven't received any news about the claim at my new address. The deadline was the 28th of May. I have posted the letter with my address change to both the court and solicitors. I am worried that it will get sent to my old address and I have a problem. Should I call the court to find out, or should that be ok to continue waiting? Thanks -

Thanks @dubai 5 0 I hadn’t seen anyone get emails from the bank to say two agencies had been given the debt to chase and I’ve not heard anything from J&P for ages. I assume IDR had given up so have to see what I get next from them -
no you are not. if your exit was not completely clear before you entered the box, you have no appeal, .. end of no get out. esp if you followed another vehicle in when they were not completely clear themselves, the stopping issue is somewhat immaterial and no excuse as it proves your exit was not completely clear for your whole car to exit if you had to stop. an assumption cars were going to drive clear is guilt. dx

Also just to let you know I have pretty well no doubt that not only will we be able to get you reimbursement for your destroyed parcel but also we will be able to get your compensation for them having taken this action against your property without authority. Hi DX, thank you for your reply and clarification on site rules re photos. I'm not sure what the parameters of the offense are, but ISTM my rear wheels may be beyond the line anyway. Depending what the video footage shows, I may be able to claim I had to stop suddenly due to the vehicle in front doing the same. I have no memory of the incident sadly. I fear I'm dead to rights but always worth an appeal... right?! -
regardless to if a debt is unenforceable or not, if it's still owned by the oc, once a default notice has been issued and a defaulted date entered on your credit file, you should resume some form of payment, be that the required sum or a lower one via a self managed pro-rata scheme. not sure in how many differing ways or varied posts we need to keep stating thus. dx

we dont allow hosting sites as they often require or harvest pers details read upload. it looks like your exit was not clear sufficiently clear to allow complete exit upon entering. regardless to you stopping or not. dx

Can you elaborate on what you mean? I take it you mean they are enforceable and therefore making payments would have helped?

Hi everyone, The council believe that a Penalty Charge is payable with respect to the above vehicle for the following alleged traffic contravention: 31J Entering and stopping in a box junction when prohibited The alleged contravention was recorded by an approved CCTV device at the time stated. The PCN is being served by post on the basis of a record produced by an approved device It is unclear from the still images whether I'm all the way out of the box, or indeed whether being stopped is the offense they're alleging. Yes correct, that said though, with the benefit of hindsight, I should have done exactly what dx is suggesting, I went full apocolypse mode but I didn't need to, there are better ways to do it than I did that I believe would have led to better outcomes once I saw the paperwork following my initial CCA request. So, I do not suggest doing what I did. But rather to the word what dx and others are suggesting

Hello all... another update! OPS have brought in a DCA who are now chasing me for my first 'contravention'. Sum is £150 so above the original PCN fine. I take it I continue to ignore until LBC?

Another update. Got a letter from Mortimer Clarke. It says that they will continue court proceedings but that I should phone them and discuss 'my debt'. No mention of the items that I requested in my LBC form. No evidence of the phantom payment either. Seems like they are just contributing to global deforestation... Shall I continue to ignore?

Thank you again Dave, this is all really useful. I booked directly with Bookin.com and had messages from the host. I'll look at this further tomorrow and also contact the host again via the Booking.com website. I wonder how much experience the host has if they don't understand the website way to cancel a booking. The message I had from the host was asking if I'd heard from Booking.com so it sounds as if they don't know what process to follow. HB
