Hi,

I have an issue I need help on. I received a letter from Lloyds dated the 7th August 2007. Part of the letter states " Generally we don't agree to adjust any of these charges, but I can tell you that on this occasion we are prepared to to repay you £750.00 in full and final settlement of your complaint. We will credit this amount to your account within 10 working days". Guess what? They haven't. I've spoken to the supervisor at their helpline call centre and he said it will be sorted in 2 days. I don't know what to do next, cause the collections department is pestering me. I've written to them and they still ring my house.

What legal steps can I take to get the money asap?

All standard stuff - remember they DID NOT ask you to sign for 'full and final' settlement, they just told you is was; just take the money and carry on with your claim

Best of luck with it BTW
